iPhone Telephone reception ?

I purchased an iPhone 5 on April Fools day of all days after using a EVO 4G android for the last 3 or 4 years .

From my home and yard my reception is horrible... Dropped calls and full of static BUT I never had a problem with the EVO .

I am running a Morphie Air or Juice Pak but removing it does not seem to help... Carrier is Sprint which until I got the iPhone was more then adequate heck even my sons iPhone 4s works well in my home..

Any ideas of how I could figure out what the problem is and the solution...

You could try a cellular signal booster for your home.

Check to see that your carrier settings are up to date. The Mophie shouldn't affect the reception, only extremely thick or dense cases would
