iPhone not recognized by itunes

I have an iphone 4S running ios 5.0.1, and just recently, it has begun not being recognized by itunes, I have tried restarting my phone, and reinstalling itunes. Before you ask, no I do not have another computer I can try this on. This has never happened to me before. Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong? I know the cable is fine because it charges my phone.

Try turning off any firewalls, or anti-virus programs you may have running.

If that does not work, try plugging in phone, open iTunes, and hard reboot (hold both home & sleep button for 10-12 seconds....til u see the Apple logo).
