I am a recent convert (Android to iPhone) and I was playing around with creating ringtones for my iPhone 4. I followed the directions on how to convert .mp4a to .mp4r and loaded the ringtones on my iPhone easily. Now the problem...
When I load my playlist onto the phone, the phone is reading the song I used to create a ringtone from as a ringtone. Basically, even though the song is showing as .mp4a on my iTunes when I plug in my phone, the phone is playing the .mp4r version. Does anyone know how I can have both song and ringtone loaded on the phone, but be read as different type of files?
