We’ve already seen the iPhone 6s subjected to its first bend test, and now, MacRumors reports, the iPhone 6s Plus has been put through its paces as far as its speed is concerned.
YouTube channel Mad Matt TV ran speed tests on the iPhone 6s Plus in comparison with the iPhone 6 Plus, putting them next to each other and then timing how long the phones took to perform certain tasks, such as launching apps and loading websites in Safari.
The test results revealed that the iPhone 6s Plus is slightly faster than the iPhone 6 Plus when it comes to performing certain tasks, but only by a very small margin, in fact both phones performed certain other tasks equally as well as each other.
Both the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have a 64-bit Apple A9 chip and M9 motion coprocessor which give up to 70% faster CPU performance, and 90% faster graphics in comparison with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus A8 chip. Also, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus only had 1GB of RAM in comparison with the 2GB of RAM in the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
