... and a question: We all realize now our iPhone 6, especially the Plus, is haunted. The trending price for the device on eBay is $512 right now. So why do we still hold onto these bombs?

Tick ... tick ... tick.

I notice that if I let the phone cool off for a few minutes I can pick it up and the touch functions work as they should for a few minutes until it warms up again and stop working altogether.

Rinse and repeat every time the touch becomes unresponsive.

This may work for a while but the symptoms will continue to get worse over time until the touchscreen is completely unresponsive, with no way to get it working without a board level repair.
