iphone 4s and docking bay

Hi guys, my iphone4 was lost so my wife got me a iphone 4s, it is used on my bose docking bay....the iphone 4s does not work on the docking bay ( it chargers ). I believe apple have put something in its software that stops me using this docking bay.....can anybody help please

An iPhone dock that works with the iPhone 4 should work with the iPhone 4S. Have you checked out the dock with other iPhone 4's and 4S's to see if it works with them?
