hi,my iphone 4 is dropping signal & saying no sim etc so im posting it back to applecare under warranty,its jailbroken so what should i do ? do i just restore to latest firmware on itunes ?

Yes, restore to the most recent firmware via iTunes before sending it to Apple.

Depend on the issue you are having with the phone, if it's hardware wise issue then they will surely replace it for you, if it's a software wise issue then a simple factory restore should be able to cure the issue. Anyway, factory restore it before taking it to apple.

All you have to do us set up an appointment and they will serve you and try to walk you through different methods on fixing your phone is they can not fix it they will give you a new iPhone that's what they did to me, I was at the apple retail store for about 2 hours but I had no issue with that
