iPhone 4 tethering

I have an iPhone 4 (Verizon) and a Mac Book Pro. I have been told that I can tether the two and use the iPhone as my internet connection on the computer. What do I need to do to accomplish this?

I don't know if the personal hotspot is available for verzion? Check your settings and see if it's there. It will be under the wifi setting.

You will need a tethering plan from verzion for it to work. If your jailbroken you can install mywi from cydia but I've read on here somewhere that some verzion users are having problems with it...

Yes, Verizon does have the tethering plan available for the phone. Believe it is $19.99 per month roughly for 2gb tethered.

Im on At&T since the first Iphone and have granfathered plan. What would Tethering cost me ?
