iphone 4 problem

hi, i was updating my iphone on itune the suddenly it battery gets low n it turned off , now the situation is when i put it on charging it charge for 3to 4 show itune cable sign n when it wanted to restore it in this condtion it turned off again saying battery low , i changed the dock and the cable but still same

Hmmm... Is the phone hot? Try putting it in DFU mode and restoring. If that fails, it could be the battery... Not 100% sure though. What generation of the iPhone is it?
