Iphone 4 camera help

Ok I have a question about my camera it's really slow and has been for awhile and my iPod touch 4g jailbroken is faster then it. Can someone tell me why. I thought the iPhone 4 was faster then iPod touch 4g?

Mine was like this too when I was jailbroken I have an iPhone 4 and it took about 20 second to load the camera, now that I'm not jailbroken it loads in about 3 seconds

Mine is not jailbroken my iPod is not my iPhone. But my iPod takes faster photos then my iPhone. It has a fresh factory software on it and its still slow.

it could be that the iphone has a higher quality camera?
