Hello,

I am new to this forum, I hope someone can enlighten me on a few things

My iphone 3G was bought in singapore in 2008 by my friend and She send it to me in 2010. It is unlocked so I was able to transfer the sim (Tmobile) from my old Nokia phone I was using to this iphone. And it worked fine

Now that i want to switch to Red Pocket Mobile Service, I just need to buy a SIM from them. But one of the things that they require is if my iphone is 900/1800 Mhz compatible. which led me to think. Not all Iphone 3g were created equal.

Will my iphone work for red pocket since it worked for tmobile? by the way, the model of this is MB500ZA if that would help

Thanks
Alex...

T mobile works in the frequency band 900/1800Mhz...so your new sim should be compatible....the only problem you may encounter, is the iPhone may be locked to a network

Thank you for your quick reply Bula. This iphone is an unlocked unit. Is this the concern?
