iphone 3g or 3gs slip cases

does anyone know if 3g or 3gs slip cases would be ok for 4s?as its a slip case button placement wouldn't matter.

I couldn't tell you from experience, but they're shaped different. Though you said button placement doesn't matter. So by that statement alone id say go for it. I still think it'd be annoying to have a case with incorrect button placements.

Though I'm sure the case wouldn't fit snug as well. Seeing as how the 3G/3GS are thicker than the iPhone 4/4S

yes,i suppose there could be a safety issue,it could slide out too easily,shame as theres some bargains to be had,il probably wait for new 4s stock,thanks,
