Why does my screen brightness keep going down to 40% constantly? How can I fix it to stay where I set it??

Is “Automatic” enabled in Settings - Display & Brightness - Appearance? If so, turn it off.

There’s also a feature in Settings - Accessibility - Display & Text Size that can adjust the brightness level of your iPhone automatically. It’s called “Auto-Brightness”.

These are all turned off . I slide my brightness to where I want it and it still moves down below 1/2 even when charging and not ising the phone?? Annoying!

I was hoping the upgrades would fox this if it is a bug? Not sure if others have the same issues? Still looking for a fix with icons moving from pages or going back to the App Library on their ow?
