Guys, I'll be on holiday in Mexico during September , so i wont be anywhere near a PC. Will I get IOS5 over the air or will I still need to plug it in?

You will still need to update by wire, then future updates will be available over the air

As obviously the air software is not on your phone yet

Yeah, but the cloud appears to be. Every time I download a new app, it also appears on my iPad. Just thought the same thing might happen with the OS.

You can download and install the update on your phone you can then backup from icloud if you have under 5GB of storage so really you dont need to plug the iphone in at all which was apples intension for those who dont have a computer, it will work much better in the fall when the files is released, also air updates dont work if you are jailbroken.
