An interesting story on AppleInsider today looks at the possibility that Apple is planning to build deep Facebook integration into iPhone and iPad in the same way that it did with Twitter. Evidence to support this has been found in the latest iOS 5.1 beta 3. According to iMore, a screenshot from the iOS Contacts app was found in the latest beta, complete with an option to enter a contact’s Facebook name below their Twitter name. Previous reports have hinted at the fact that Apple had originally considered deep Facebook integration in iOS prior to doing the same with Twitter, but decided not to. AppleInsider reports that the latest iOS 5.1 beta also appears to support recent rumours that Apple is planning on releasing two iPads in 2012, one in March and one towards the end of the year, as it has references to J1AP and J2AP in the code, which are believed to be iPad code names.

That's not bad, hoping that there will not be any mess with adding Facebook address to contacts.
