Import from old sim card to Iphone 4.

Hey

I have an old phone with a (mini?) sim card.
I would like to import all of the sim cards contacts into my Iphone.
Is there a way to do that?

Yes... go into Settings>Contacts & there's an option to "Import from Sim."

but the old sim card doesn't fit into the new iphone...

Ahhh ok... I see what you're saying. The older iPhones (before the iP4) used a regular size Sim card. Well... there's two ways. You can cut the existing Sim card down to where it will fit in the iP4's tray (check out some tutorials on YouTube on how to do this) or you can go to your carrier and they'll have a machine that will trasnfer contacts from a regular Sim to a Mini Sim. I know At&t does this.

Thanks, the funny thing is that i did cut the sim card, but it doesnt work in the iphone, but i can still use it in the old phone

That's a good question.. I have no idea. :-( It probably would't work to well since the Sim will be able to move around in the port and not make good contact w/ the connectors.
