iMessage issue!?

Hi... My friends are telling me that my email address is popping up where my name should be in iMessages. Any idea how to get it back to my name? I have a feeling I need to enable it to receive to my phone number instead of email addy, but when I go to Settings>Meesages>Receive At- the phone option is greyed out. Help! Thanks

At the same Receive At page, there is caller Id at the bottom of the page. Pls click and you will direct to list of your phone no and email address. Please select or tick your phone no.
