hey guys,
as the title says i have a iphone 4 with iOS 7.0.2. i just bought a Sony personal docking system. the phone will charge and everything, but will not play music. i get the message saying this accesory is not supported. it will work if i have an aux cable, but if i have it sitting in the dock, the music will occasionally cut out, but still play. my girlfriend has the same iphone 4 with ios 7 and hers works fine.
i have tried the reset (hold power and the other button) and reset to factory, but it still won't work.
i have tried to clean out the charging port because it had dust and stuff in it.
i was wondering wether its a problem with the charging port (bent prong or something), and if anyone else has had this problem, and what i could do about it.
i am also wondering what jailbreaking is and wether that would help.
