I have had dropbox for a long time. You don't even need to store things on your phone with it. If you want to share something with someone, you can put it in the public folder. Then with the dropbox app, navigate to the file and click on the link button and either email the link to the person or you can copy the URL to send it any way you like. Even though its public people would have to know the URL in order to download so it's fairly secure.
