I own an IPhone 4 - I also animate fractals.
I think that fractal animations are one of the best ways to show what the retina display is capable of.
This is because (in case you did not know) The more you magnify a fractal - the more complex it becomes.
Fractals are infinite so you can carry on magnifying one forever
only to reveal ever more complex and increasingly detailed images.
They just look simply amazing on the retina.
I have created an animation specifically for the iphone 4 retina display.
compressed with quality of image over file size in mind. (basically highest possible image quality)
it is ten minutes long and the file size is 1GB
It is a magnification of the Mandelbrot fractal set.
This is not spam -
