How to find multiple locations on map?

Say I'm out-and-about and want to find a post office along my route.

If I search on post office from current location the map app will show me the nearest one.

But if it's in the opposite direction I'm going, I want to find other post offices.

How can I do that?

And this is why I use a Garmin Nuvi instead of my iPhone for navigation. Because that is a built in feature of every Garmin (above $150) out there and you never have to think about how to make it do something that simple.
