If you want to pass your phone onto someone, how do you get all of your info off your phone, e.g. cards in the wallet app, photos, apps, contacts, etc., etc.?

If you want to pass your phone onto someone, how do you get all of your info off your phone, e.g. cards in the wallet app, photos, apps, contacts, etc., etc.?

After backing up your device, go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase everything and leave the device in the same condition it was in when first purchased.
You can also do an iTunes restore, which will back up your device and restore it to factory condition. At that point you can disconnect it from iTunes and safely sell it.
If you had Find My iPhone enabled you’ll have to turn it off before erasing the device.
