Hi just got my iphone 4 and it's awsome!, I have just set up my email and over 2700 emails came flooding through. Obviously it has taken all my read emails as well as unread. Checked my pc and I only have 4 unread?. How has this happend and how do I delete them in bulk without having to go through each one?
Thanks Glenn

I'm afraid there's no easy way. Although the iPhone revolutionised mobile OS they are still miles behind in other ways.

All you can do it select edit and then press on each email to select it. Do a fair amount and then delete and start again. I only had 100 and it took me long enough lol

Good luck

Only other option is to delete the account off your phone then go to your main email and delete ones you don't need anymore. Then you will have less to mark as read.....

I concur. No easy way to delete them. I went through the same when I got my 3GS a year ago. I ended up deleting the account from the phone, deleting emails in MS Outlook, then re-adding it to the phone.
