How to access Gmail starred messages from iPhone mail client?

I do not see Starred Gmail messages
What should I do to enable it?

I hadn't noticed that until you mentioned it. Nothing was in my starred folder.

I went into my phone and found an email I knew was starred. I deliberately put it in the starred folder. When I checked....all the others had gone in also. The phone must have thought I wasn't using that folder.

See if just pulling down the screen to refresh works. If not, delete the account, and re-input the credentials.

Well ... I'm using Exchange account ... maybe that's the reason that I don't see starred messages. In case I add Gmail account I do see starred messages but I don't want to have both account i.e. Exchange and Gmail. I'll try to add explicetely one starred message and see if it'll bring the rest
