Just want to post an update and solution to my problem with my faulty home button...
Updated my phone last night to ios 5.0.1 and ever since my home button has been perfect! its like i have a brand new and i look forward to playing with my phone again where as before i dreaded fighting my phone to get it to do what i wanted. Not entirely sure what the problem was, if it was just an ios thing or an ios5 thing but the latest update seemed to take care of it.
