I've recently upgraded from an iPhone 3G to an iPhone 4, 16gig (black). I'm a mature aged university student and I'm starting a 12 month IT job next month as part of my Degree studies.

I switched to Apple over a couple of years ago so I use iTunes on my MacBook Pro and I have a couple of iPod Nanos.

Before I got my first iPhone I used to be a Nokia user for my mobile phone. By the time I replaced each Nokia mobile phone I noticed how worn looking they were. They still worked OK.

But now I have my iPhone 4 I'm surprised at how "new looking" my old iPhone 3G is. I'd be interested to get other people's impressions on that.

My 3G had been through the wars but stood up fairly well all things considered.

My 3GS (White) got replaced every couple of months due to signal issues I had with it. The ones I had were still looking brand new before getting them replaced. That was without a case...
