Go to the App Store and find the app that will play what you want.

You need an app that will play those particular files. QuickTime will not.

It appears that VLC is once again available for the iPhone. I used the original version, which was horrible and was later withdrawn by Videolan.

Since it is the best media player for Mac and Windows, I'd suggest giving it a try.

VLC for Mobile on the App Store
