Hello,

I have a iphone4(not 4s) and it was unlocked and jailbroken. Daughter hooked it up to computer and it downloaded the new IOS5 software and I lost my jailbrake. I downloaded the previous IOS from this site but do not know how to get it to Itunes so I can retore my phone and have this as the backup file it uses. HELP. Thank You so much

Since you were previously jailbroken there is a good chance you may have the necessary SHSH Blobs to downgrade. BUT, you will have LOST your unlock if you were relying on ultrasn0w OR gevey. Your daughter also upgraded your baseband and there is NO WAY to downgrade that. So unless it was a factory unlock you had (and that seems doubtful from your description), you are totally out of luck in terms of unlocking!

Follow this tutorial and it will retrieve all your blobs (these are essential - if you don't have them, you can't downgrade the firmware) - http://www.iphoneforums.net/forum/h...ave-your-shsh-blobs-using-tinyumbrella-18924/

Once that is done, you will have a list of all the firmwares you can restore. Hopefully the one you want will be in the list...

If so, you just need to download the necessary firmware from our thread here - http://www.iphoneforums.net/forum/i...ple-ios-firmware-download-links-iphone-17213/

Then, press "Start TSS Server" in TinyUmbrella, start iTunes, and press shift-restore (option-restore on OSX) and you will be able to choose the firmware file you downloaded in the previous step and it will get installed.

Remember, this will only work if the first tutorial results in you having the right SHSH Blobs. They cannot be forged, copied, or otherwise bypassed. So if you don't get them, you are out of luck.
