Help jailbreaking

Hi I'm new with the iPhone. I just bought an iphone4 from atandt and was wondering if anyone could tell me how I can jailbreak it. Thanx

I used it to jail brake my 4S

im also new to the iphone4 . please excuse my ignorance but what exactly is jail braking and how do you benifit from it ?
