Help can't play iPod!

I recently purchased a few songs off of iTunes and was listening to them just Sunday night! Here it is Tuesday night and I have yet been able to play music from iPod! Ive don't the reset/reboot plenty of times, I was wondering if anyone has run into the problem before? I am on 4.2.8 with jailbreakme.com jailbreak! Please help

Sorry should've specified iPhone 4 iOS 4.2.8 verizon, jailbreakme.com jailbroken. Everytime I go to my iPod, it comes up on the playlist screen and I can select an option there but when I try to select a song to play it closes the program! This is very upsetting while i work over night and listen to music all night! Please help

Almost sounds to me like you have a corrupt song. Remove all the music from your iTunes that you've added recently, do a sync, then see if the problem continues. Then go ahead and download your purchases again.
