Have a major issue with my 3GS the speaker has quit

I have a major problem my 3GS speaker quit working . The headphones work fine but nothing works without the headphones . It worked 2days ago I've tried different things but none work . Can someone help

Hardware problem most likely. You'll need to take it apart to see the extent of the problem
