Guardians: The Last Day of the Citadel is a new iOS game from Italian developer Drakkar Dev which the company says resembles a classical single-player side-scrolling game, but with significant variations. The gameplay is designed to gradually expand and become richer the further you get in the game, with the characters collecting new objects, equipment and weapons along the way. The intuitive touch controls enable you to dodge and fight every kind of danger with just one finger during the cinematic-style fight sequences as you guide the heroine Loreena on her breathless flight through the epic 3D environments. And it’s not all about simple combat either – you’ll also have to master magic in order to defeat stronger enemies and activate magic portals.

"The game promises to be one of the most visually appealing apps released so far and we know our gameplay structure is pretty solid, so we have all the right elements to make this game a success".

The game is published by Italian company A-Tono.

"We definitely see Guardians as being technically one of the best titles out there right now and we are making all the possible effort to make it successful. It's a game that deserves being noticed".
