Google Sync... Contacts Pictures Shrink

Brand new to iPhone. Changed from blackberry to iPhone 4. Latest ios.
I understand this is a known problem. Syncing Google contacts shrinks all the full pictures for contacts to small.

The questions I have are
1 - any solutions? Al all. It's frustrating
2 - I deleted 5 contacts that call me the most and added them manually through the phone but they shrink again. Is this because I connected to itunes and it synced my contacts?

Please Google sort this out. It's getting silly

It isn't a Google issue. It was a choice by Apple to display ALL non-local stored contacts in this format. And if you don't have local/iCloud contact storage turned on, it will add the contact back to the list you have active. Odds are that is Google for you.

SO what would be your advice on getting the pictures to stay full csreen? Without having to manually add one by one on my phone.

Can I transfer from google contacts to icloud to iphone?

I am only aware of adding each entry manually once you create an iOS contact list. Hopefully someone with more knowledge can post a batch method.
