Here's my issue: I'm browsing on Safari and I find the business I'm looking for. I click on "Directions" and it takes me to Google maps. In the "From" box it shows: "Choose Starting Point". I'm forced to enter the address I want to start from.

Ordinarily when launching Google maps directly (not from Safari), "My location" is already selected in the "From" box so I don't have to enter it.

How can I get "My location' to show in the Google maps "From" box when I'm in Safari? Many times when you're out on the road, you don't know your exact address so it's difficult to enter the starting point.

After I posted the question in the 3GS forum I realized that I was more likely to get an answer from the App forum. I don't think many people visit the 3GS forum. Please move my question to the App forum.
