FitBit and iphone 6?

I read somewhere that Fitbit is not planning on interfacing with IOS 8! If this is true, that truly bites!

The app is compatible with iPhone 6 and 6 plus, which means that it works with iOS 8.

There's no intention to support the Health app, though.

This may possibly be related to Fitbit's plans to introduce it's own smart watch, the Fitbit Surge. Fitbit moves from fitness band to true smartwatch territory with 250 Fitbit Surge 9to5Mac
