And that is determined by what customers want and pay money for.

Specially in a competitive market like this that we say many other smart phones on par with iphone

That may be, but Apple is far more profitable, so Apple's current iPhone development and marketing strategy certainly works for them. It's lots of customers buying those iPhones that generate those enormous profits. Obviously, customers want those iPhones and are willing to pay the price.

I wouldnt say its working when you look at their stock price for the past 6 months.

It's entirely possible for a company to have a falling stock price and a rising profit margin.

Apple supply a good product, good sales, and is not dependant. Samsung share price is a relation to Samsung. The phone business in Samsung is a part of the whole. I am of the opinion that a lot of negatives on Apple's stock, is a result of a small percentage of people "attacking" Apple's products. And to attack is easy, as the number of products are very small. Investors, that are by the way a lot less than users of the product, are making nervous moves. It would be the same if one negative remark on Google for example, will be made, and everybody in the market attack android. Samsung is dependant on Google for Android on the phone side, and to attack either of the two, will attack a whole system where the product attacked is a very small portion of the whole. The negative for Apple is that the number of products are very little. But they are doing something right if you look at their sales figures and performance. If I was an investor in Apple stock, the movement won't make me nervous. I personally think the price was inflated at a stage, and things are moving back to normal.

well folks i really think this thread has run it's course,as i said before stocks go down and they can go up up again,Apple isn't going anywhere,they'r here to stay,with that i'm closing this thread,thanks everyone.
