EMails Bouncing How to erase deleted eMails

When I call owc they tell me the trash is not deleted, Find nothing on this in Teach Yourself Visually iPhone 5 or Poge's The Missing Manual.

Try deleting the emails from a pc. The manual can be found in the iTunes bookstore.
