Editing contacts

Anyone else notice that you cannot edit your contact list with the iOS 5?? I can add contacts but cannot delete them

Care to elaborate. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I can add to existing contacts but cannot choose to save them. I have to hit the home button to exit and it will save that way. I can't seem to go into an existing contact and delete them or edit them.

Plus one. Its you. All you have to do to delete contacts is click edit on the contact and delete will be at the bottom

You appear to be jailbroken. If so, that could explain why you don't have an edit button in the upper right corner. Jailbreaks sometimes cause strange things to happen.

Or you might have other account if you know what I mean like when I had my contacts with hotmail I couldn't delete I think what you should do go to all contacts and see if not it may be a tweak or something wrong with it

Try hard resetting. Hold the power button and the home button until you see the apple logo and release

Thanks for all the tips guys. Just got off phone with apple tech support and they said it seems like the phone is messed for some reason. They said go take to apple store for exchange. Well see tomorrow now.

I assumed you were jailbroken since you have &ldquo;ROGERS&rdquo; on your task bar where the cellular carrier normally appears

Nope not jail broken. We have the iPhone 4s in Canada as well.

well got the new phone and seems to be working fine now. Apple store said must have been a defective phone, it was nice, looked at it verified it and no questions asked heres your new phone

I am happy for you. It is always a bummer to get a cool new phone and have it not work. Glad they took such good care of you. Enjoy your new phone!
