[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pa2CJZArOlg]YouTube - Verizon iPhone 4 Antenna Issues[/ame]

iLounge has been testing the Verizon CDMA iPhone 4 for antenna issues and says that it has found that when you hold the Verizon iPhone in a similar “death grip” manner to the AT&T GSM version, there’s a “dramatic, dramatic” slowdown in the speed at which the iPhone 4 loads up web pages over Verizon’s network. iLounge says that it has also witnessed the same slow down on Wi-Fi. You can clearly see on the video above how slugglishly the iPhone starts performing once the phone is held in the “death grip” in both Wi-Fi and 3G modes.

iLounge says that it had actually heard rumours of these problems prior to the Verizon iPhone 4’s launch, yet when the early reviews of the phone came out, there was no mention of it, in fact most of the reviews seemed to say that the issue had been completely eliminated. iLounge adds that as with the GSM AT&T iPhone 4, using a bumper with the phone seems to solve the problem easily.
