I have been using a regular black/clear bumper for my black phone. Out of a few cases I have I keep going back to them. I have 2 defender cases coming in for me and my wife in a few days. I got plain black and she got a white and pink one for when we go out camping or on the quads we are covered. I paid $5 a piece so I figured if they last a few times then we are good.

I just picked up a Skinit case for mine. During the week, I'll be using my otterbox since I'm all over the place dealing with computers but on the weekends I'll use the Skinit because I think I'd look kinda goofy if I had the defender clipped to my shorts lol.

My opinion for a case is either the Sena line or the carbon fiber skin with an apple bumper.

The fact that it's covered in easily crackable and breakable glass.. yes.. a case is a must.

Have mine in a Ballistic HardCore. It's like an otterbox defender but without the horrible silicone that gets loose and gaps.
