Disabaling java...?

Was reading on a couple of sides saying that we should take off java or something along those lines. Didn't really read the whole article just glanced at it. Does anyone know if we have to worry about it on the iPhone 5? Anyone have knowledge on that topic?

It is security problem. So far I think it's not solved. But don't take my word for that.

Go to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security site and search for TA13-010A. It is an Alert advisory released 01/10/2013 stating Java should be disabled for any web browser using Java 7 until a fix is issued by Oracle. I disabled it on my Windows machine. I don't know if Safari in iOS 6 uses Java 7, but JavaScript (not Java) can be disabled in Settings=>Safari=>JavaScript.
