Dark / Light Theme MacBook Air

Hi all.
Went to open my photos app then decided to edit one or two of them. When I selected the edit tab the whole screen turned to a dark theme the photo was okay, How to change that edit page from the dark theme or is thats how it is.
looked at the tool bar could not see any option. Any body Please.

Did you reverse the picture so it looks like a photo negative?
