Continually signing in to Youtube

It seems that every time I want to view or upload a video on Youtube on my iPhone - even though I initially signed in - it wants me to sign in yet again with my username and password, which is really annoying. Is there a way to save this information?

it should save it just after logging in the once, are you using the youtube app or just joining youtube from safari?

Hmm. I think the app, but I might have been using Safari or Skyfire. Does it make a difference?
