ChuChu Rocket! Update Brings 100 New Levels

Pocket Gamer reports that SEGA’s classic Dreamcast puzzler ChuChu Rocket! has just received an update for the iPhone and iPad versions which introduces 100 new levels to Puzzle mode. Among other tweaks to the gameplay are the addition of ghost arrows in Multiplayer mode, plus improvements to the arrow placement and Multiplayer lobby UIs. Various bugs have been fixed by the update, including the intriguing “mouse-entering-rocket audio issue”, and general performance upgrades have also been applied.

Pocket Gamer points out that although this update did not bring the hoped-for online multiplayer mode (the current version is local multiplayer via Bluetooth-only), Bob Koon from the game’s developer, Binary Hammer, told them in an interview that it is coming soon:

“Although we weren't able to build online multiplayer into the game by launch time, it’s still a big priority for us as we work on updates.”
