Cellular Data System Services

I was looking at some of the Settings values on both my iPhone 6s and my wife's iPhone 6s Plus and noticed that the largest component in both phones is by far Mapping Services.

Any idea what this is?

I have Maps turned off.

These are the system services which use your location. Go to Settings - Privacy - Location Services, scroll down to System Services, and take a look at the list there. One of the items if Frequent Locations. That's one of the features that might use most of the mobile data in System Services on your device. Select it, clear your history and disable it, if you don't want to use it.
