can you use bluetooth to send photos from one ph to the other

I have just upgraded to a better phone , is this the way to do it .

It's possible to use Airdrop to send pictures from one iDevice to another.
Here's more information about it:
Change or remove your Apple ID payment information - Apple Support

If you wish to get your images from your old iPhone to a new one, then backup your older device via iCloud (enable Photos in Settings - iCloud, before backing up), and then use this backup to restore your new device.
