Can I swap my wife's 4s for my 4?

My 4 is a 16gb and the wife's is a 4s 32gb. I need more space for the IOS update, while she's only used 10.1. can we do this by just swapping sim cards or what else is involved?

If the SIMS are same size and you're both on same network that should work.

Dose ur wife know she will be getting a older phone that will be slower and not have Siri my wife would not have any of that
