call waiting not working w/ ios6

while on a call I can hear the beep that I have a 2nd call coming in, but I can't see who it is and I have no option to switch over to the new call or ignore it. The 2nd call will show up in my missed calls though.

It's like my phone permanently set itself to ignore all incoming calls while I'm on a call which on ios5 was just an option.

I have an iphone 4 and did the backup through itunes with the phone plugged into my computer.

I fixed it. Did a backup and restore and it works.

If your app store and passbook wouldn't connect and you did the trick moving the date up a year like someone else posted then you will need to redo that to make passbook work.

I just spent 15 mins on the phone with Verizon. They had me dial *228 and then select option 1 to program phone. Then they had me dial #832 as a test call and this corrected the issue of my call waiting not working. Verizon then called me while I was on the phone with them and the beep came through and option to ignore or hold an answer came up.
