From the category of creative and cute little tweaks, here comes a jailbreak application nicknamed BrigthVol. It has been released by HASHBANG Productions and allows users to access brightness levels and customize them more easily. Getting to the brightness features is not an easy walk in Apple devices, as users have to search in Settings until they can get to revise their settings.
BrightVol is extremely imaginative in its design. It will not add extra features to your display but it will re-use what you already have the volume buttons. To switch between volume buttons and brightness buttons users will have to use just about any combination in the Activator. For those new to jailbreaking, you should know that the Activator is the place where you can enhance the stock settings (default settings), programming them to do your bidding. The Activator is usually the first jailbreak app users install from Cydia if the application has not been installed by default after jailbreaking.
Just to be safe, after you have changed the volume buttons into the brightness buttons, the Activator will change back the buttons to their original purpose on its own 30 seconds after you use the Activator functionality, thus helping you remember the changes you performed. To get the tweak, interested parties should head on to the BigBoss repository and download it from there. It will work for your iPhone, iPod and even iPad.
