Bluetooth

I am trying to pair my Iphone with a Trimble Nomad, hand held field computer I use for land surveying. My iphone will not find the device but the nomad will find the phone just fine.

I have to be able to bluetooth my phone to the nomad in order to run equipment, also need to be able to tether through bluetooth.

Any and all help is much appreciated.

Maybe celest Bluetooth from cydia can help?
